Southern Adventures is a travel fiction children’s book series.  This series is great for kids who love to travel in person or in their imaginations!

In the Southern Adventures series, Anna and her family are Cherokee Indians from North Carolina who spend part of every summer traveling throughout the U.S. South.  Eight-year-old Anna finds adventure everywhere she goes, and she loves to try to beat her brother, whatever the game.  Ten-year-old Carter is a history buff (and a bit of a know-it-all, according to Anna).  Together with their parents, they explore each new city while learning about its history, sampling some of the area’s unique food, meeting new people, and, of course, discovering new adventures!
